Have you ever wondered if what you are doing is big enough? If your revolution, business or dream is big enough?
Recently a Rockateer in my course asked me this…she gave me her amazing idea for her revolution (and it. is. good) and then she paused, and said…”Is that big enough?”
At first, I felt like she was comparing herself to others and that is what made her say that. And you should know that comparing yourself to others is deadly, stop it.
But after thinking on it for a few days, I remember something my husband has always said, “If it doesn’t intimidate you, then your dream isn’t big enough.” Click here to tweet.
So I ask her, and I ask you…is it big enough to intimidate you?I boldly say, that if it doesn’t intimidate you, you must dream and give bigger.
I remember the first time I talked to Erika Lyremark about EST Day, she said why are you only wanting to do a digital book? You can raise the money to have the book printed. I was instantly intimidated. The thought, “I could fail and if I do I will look like a failure” ran through my head. But with her push I took on something that made my stomach drop.
When you come across something that intimidates you, you will know if it something you want to do just by the way you and your body reacts the first time you hear it or envision it. Your heart will scream YES yet your head will scream we can’t DO THIS!?!
